AU has practical oriented Science, Education and Social Science Programs that integrate learning on campus with self directed student activities and community engagement. Students at AU are equipped with skills and competences right from first year to make their programs relevant to the society, employer and consumers of AU products.

AU QUALITY OBJECTIVE: Alupe University endeavors to attain quality of the utmost level through continuous enhancement of innovation, creativity and applying ‘zero defects’ processes.

AU has two policies approved by the Deans Committee

The ICT and the Open and Distance e-Learning policies. To meet the learning and teaching needs of our students the AU College Academic board and Management has in place the process of training lecturers in content preparation, uploading, and examination of students using the e-learning/ digital platforms. The University has identified an ICT Director and the human resource needed to actualise the utilisation of ICT for e-learning: Instructional Designers/Technologist; Subject Matter Experts; Learner/Staff Support; Database Administrator; Programmer; Support Desk (Call Centre); Hardware Maintenance staff and Quality Assurance. Lecturers have adopted e-learning to complete the three weeks of the Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic year. AU has developed guidelines drawn from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education protocols to guide the students regarding learning and accommodation in the academic year 2020/2021.
